Orders showing as on hold when the despatch date is in the future

Current Problem
At present all orders pull through to new unless we are out of stock irregardless of the despatch/delivery date that is entered on the system.
Idea to resolve Problem
Set the system so that if a despatch date is put on the order that is in the future the order shows as held or pack & hold until the despatch date requested which then moves it into 'New'
