Failing that just use the 'Despatch Note Templates' functionality - each of our clients has their own bespoke 4x6 labels (which you have to select 4x8 in the setup up - come on Mintsoft....) which can even be different per order channel.
Could you not use the 'Additional Order Document' linked to a 4x8 printer. Have to build out a template to fit on that size but prints off as soon as the packer has scanned all items so it can go in the box.
Can see if the setting 'Don't Print System Despatch Note If Alternative is provided' works in conjunction.
