Pack & Hold process only works when an order is in New & PRinted status. However if we need to keep back something on pre-order which means the order is in BACKORDER status it doesn't work.
Idea to resolve Problem
Allow Pack & Hold process to work in BACKORDER status.

Please also allow orders to be placed in Pack and Hold status and then picked and packed, but not despatched. That would be a much simpler workflow than requiring the order to be New for picking and packing and then placed in Pack and Hold status afterwards, which is how it works now.

Agreed on this - recently needed it.
This would be great to have this feature working.
