Current Problem
when an order comes through for local collection or Local Pickup (i.e. not to be actually shipped), if we despatch the order, Mintsoft sends a message back to Shopify which then triggers an email to the customer saying 'Your order is on it's way' rather than triggering an email to the customer to let them know that the order is ready for collection. It seems Shopify is unable to interpret the 'despatch' message from Mintsoft in this way. We are proposing the addition of a toggle within the connection settings of Mintsoft to control whether despatch updates are sent. This would enable us to 'despatch' the order and clear it from the system but not trigger a message to Shopify (and the customer) saying the order has been shipped and confusion to be caused. Currently, Mintsoft does not support this functionality. However, we believe this feature would be a valuable addition to improve user experience and operational flexibility. |
