Less Intrusive Packing Instruction

No description provided
Current Problem

Currently, when you have Packaging Instructions on an order item it brings up a pop-up window with the instruction that has been populated at a product level. This is a small impact but as you tally these up throughout the day you can lose a lot of time just to close the pop-up window.

Idea to resolve Problem Integrate the packing instructions into a highly visible banner on the scan actions page

100% agree with that. That pop-up IRL counterproductive.
Users think it is more annoying than instructive. Very soon people learn NOT to pay attention to the text within the popup but rather focus on actions to close the pop-up and making sure that the barcode verification field is properly clicked in.
      A) Maybe we could no only get a visible field or banner but it could be colour coded or something. Plain packing instruction(Put in a cardboard box), VS Special Instruction (Put each item into a separate box and then all of the boxes in a bigger box) etc.
      A) Or static/ plain instructions that are set per client stays in a static banner but if the instruction is urgent or special - then it's a relevant pop-up. Since the vast majority of these pop-up boxes are repetitive and after training period pretty much irrelevant to the packer, I'd suggest to highlight the ones that are actually more relevant. Those could be clickable. And that would work better because they would be rare and people would be better inclined to notice them.

The static ones could be set up as per client and they stay within the Scan Actions Page. NO PUP-UP!
The dynamic one can be added by, let's say account manager ->and appears as an unmissable pop-up.
