Access Log ins with short user name

We have tried to create new log ins for our warehouse staff members using the new access details as they have stopped this facility through mintsoft.

We have used the article shown below as the warehouse staff all use the same email and monitor 1 inbox, and each user name needs a different email.

This has mean access group have created an email address which is a mile long and is not ideal to be typing in every time a warehouse member wants to log on a scanner to create a pick, example below.

Joe.Bloggs@my-company.accessmyworkspace.com

When you used to be able to create a new user on mintsoft, you could create a short username e.g Joe.Bloggs and this was far more user friendly to quickly log in to complete a pick.

Why does the Access user creation not have a short user name option?
