We have recently updated our Mintsoft app on one of our handheld devices. When picking Flexi Pick, it now asks us to input the expiry date of the SKU. We need this information in the background so we can track batches and organise stock movement, but we feel this is impacting the speed of pick and pack times and would prefer if this were an option you could turn on or off depending on your preference.
I agree, if the expiry date is entered when booking the batch in there should be no need to enter it again when picking. It really slows picking speed down.
The work around is going into each SKU and changing the setting 'Product has Expiry or Best before date' to true and 'LogExpiryDateOutbound' to false. But this is time consuming as it needs to be done for every new SKU.
