In a similar vein to idea MST-I-1603, it would be really useful if merging orders automatically triggered a recalculation of the courier service.
At the moment, it keeps the courier from the first order. This has led to a few merged orders slipping through with the wrong courier, and we’ve ended up being charged by Royal Mail for heavier shipments that should have gone with a different service.
