Current Problem
We are using a Mintsoft-Mintsoft integration with our 3PL warehouse. When partially-available order in ONBACKORDER status is split, it creates a NEW Part1of2 and ONBACKORDER Part2of2. However Part2of2 will never be received by 3PL Mintsoft when reprocessed as the order number is identical to Part1of2 and the 'Part' reference is not used as a distinguishing tag. Consequently, all ONBACKORDER orders have to be manually checked and split and the order number on Part2of2 updated to have a -2 suffix (or similar) to distinguish it from Part1of2. |

| Idea to resolve Problem | This is an issue with the Mintsoft internal integration and means that manual intervention is always required for back orders. Automation should be possible which would allow Part2of2 orders to have their order numbers updated, or alternatively the destination/3PL Mintsoft would recognise that a Part2of2 order is a separate entity from the earlier Part1of2 and not ignore them as duplicates on the basis of order number alone. |
