When serial numbers are inputted into the system, Mintsoft will automatically select a serial number per order. it is not possible to find the specific serial number when holding high volumes of stock and despatching large amounts of orders per day.
It would be beneficial to be able to store the serial numbers within Mintsoft for inventory tracking, but for the serial number to only be removed from the system/associated with an order once it has been scanned upon picking, via the barcode verification
I've had a bee in my bonnet about this for ages. Our serialised inventory is set to FALSE for recording serial number inbound and TRUE for ourbound.
However, on the old app, even with the setting set in this manner, you are forced to record serial numbers inbound so you have to receipt ASN's via the web version.
One of our clients sends in 20,000+ units at a time so we HAVE to do it the way I've described.
Does the new app now work correctly and obey the conditions set at product level? I've been mentioning this for years so it needs looking at.......
