ASN Booking-in on Mobile App - Must tap before typing

Current Problem
We cant scan an item without clicking the typing box first. There is no setting to change this. It would be easier if we could just scan the item straight away without tapping the keyboard icon first.
Idea to resolve Problem
Add focus to the relevant field for scanning on the ASN booking intent

horrible feature on this new app vs the old Mintsoft app. there should be flexibility to enable/disable this. The old app you can scan without the additional step of tapping the box
