Feature request: Sync Shopify returns and order holds with Mintsoft

Background

• Most of our SME clients come to us as their first 3PL.

• They’re already well practised in Shopify’s built-in returns and order hold features.

1. Returns sync

• When a return is requested or processed in Shopify, automatically create a matching return in Mintsoft.

• When that return is updated in Mintsoft, push the update back to Shopify, as refund pending or automatically refund based on settings chosen

2. Order hold sync

• When an order is put on hold in Shopify, put the same order on hold in Mintsoft.

• When the hold is released in Shopify, release it in Mintsoft too.

Why it matters

• Clients keep using the Shopify processes they already know.

• We don’t have to retrain clients or their staff on a separate system.

• This saves repeated training every time a client grows, restructures or hires new team members.

• It makes day-to-day operations simpler for us.
