Current Problem
When dealing with SKUs that have a high number of serial numbers to be added during the packing process on the desktop version of Mintsoft, the process is slow and inefficient. The user must do it one by one, which doubles the amount of scans required as the SKU must be scanned every time, and also means waiting for the page to load out twice. |

| Idea to resolve Problem | We propose implementing a feature in Mintsoft that streamlines the packing process for SKUs with high numbers of serial numbers. Specifically, if the user selects a high quantity of units for packing (e.g. 60), the system will prompt the user to scan one serial number and then provide a count for the remaining serial numbers (e.g. "Scan 59 more serial numbers"). Additionally, the system should provide a warning message if a serial number is scanned twice to prevent errors in data capture. By implementing this feature, we can significantly improve the efficiency and speed of the packing process for SKUs with high numbers of serial numbers. This will lead to increased productivity and profitability for warehouses and 3PLs. |
