It would be great to have a delivery confirmed status so we could keep a track on orders not yet delivered.
Idea to resolve Problem
Similar to Amazon and Ebay, tracking details are monitored and then orders are marked as delivered once they have been confirmed by the courier. We could then have a filter to have a quick view of non-delivered items and see what the issue may be and try to resolve it.

I think there is a tracking status module for this, but it is only for a limited selection of couriers. The tracking status module also has no useful reporting features, although it is part of the order overview filters, which is helpful.
