Current Problem
When creating a new mintsoft user through Access Workspace, the usernames that are generated for the warehouse users all append '@fidelity.accessmyworkspace.com ' to the end of the defined username. This is quite long and makes entering the username on a mobile picking device cumbersome. The ability to assign a 'user type' to a new Mintsoft user is now not possible as you have to create a user through workspace. Now you have to select all roles individually. You now cannot bulk upload Mintsoft users, only Workspace users, this also is unhelpful as the majority of Wahrehouse users do not and will not require any of the workspace features. |

Idea to resolve Problem | do not append anything to user names, add user types to workspace user creation flow |
Hi, thank you for your suggestion.
We have implemented the ability for users to login in with their username and password for the Mobile app and Print tool. Information on how this works can be found under this article - https://accessgroup.my.site.com/Support/s/article/Mintsoft-App-How-to-log-in
May I also suggest that creating a barcode with the username may help speed up the sign in process for scanners.
Hi, I completely agree and think it is very unprofessional to ask staff to use personal email addresses so they can sort passwords etc and access to workspace but when clients can see the email address on queries and directly email them. This needs sorted or ability to use usernames without it being an email address
I totally agree with the original post on username length we are looking at setting up a sort domain name to use for email alias so we can shorten the login name.
Would also like to have saved warehouse user types from Mintsoft available in workspace as the roles for Mintsoft Access. Having to transition 70+ users setting individual security privileges for each is a real pain.
I've kicked off a massive fuss about this months ago. It's a really awful way to set up users, makes usernames not very good as pointed out and now every single user has to be configured in a graunlar way as User Types is now redundant. With the amount of tickboxes it's very easy to miss something important and/or give someone too much access
The Accessgroup should revert back to the original set-up within Mintsoft, the new process is beyond ludicrous
