Delete product data via upload / in bulk

There is currently no way to delete product data via an upload. e.g. I have 300 products, of which 100 I want to remove/delete the packaging note for. There is currently no way to do this. I can only update it to something else but not remove completely. The only way is to manually do each one via the user interface.
