Unique Cost & price per batch - more accurate inventory values

Current Problem
Our suppliers sell our materials at varying prices, due to varying market rates. So for an accurate total inventory value, we need to record unique costs & sale prices per batch. Then these are to be removed from stock in a FIFO system.
Idea to resolve Problem
add a fields for cost and price in the batch system and calculate inventory cost off that. if these updates prices per batch could be pushed into shopify too base on the old batch running out that would be incredible too
