Current Problem
We have a number of clients with both B2C and B2B orders. When a large B2B order comes in, the order will often allocate the entire stock in the PICK location, therefore any new B2C orders will have a replenishment task allocated to the order so we cannot do anything with it until completing the replenishment task. We have KPI's to meet for B2C orders, so we will often delay the picking of the B2B order until the end of the day. Mintsoft needs to add an order 'Unallocated' order status so the order can sit in Mintsoft, but not have stock allocated to it until we are ready to pick the order. Currently the only way to do that is to have the auto process backorders function turned off. We like to keep this on for that exact purpose of allocating stock to backorders when it comes in so there needs to be another solution. |
