Current Problem
Hello Mintsoft Support, We are experiencing repeated CountryNotFound errors with our Etsy integration for our client ShapeUSA. The issue occurs when U.S. buyers place orders; the country field is coming through as blank/null from Etsy into Mintsoft. This prevents the orders from being imported and stops order status updates from flowing back to Etsy. Our Mintsoft country list already includes the United States (US), and we have set up country mappings correctly. The problem is that Etsy’s API does not pass the country value for domestic U.S. orders, so Mintsoft is defaulting the orders to the UK as the country and deleting the rest of the address information. Request: Please configure a backend default rule for the Etsy channel on the ShapeUSA account so that: If the incoming country field is blank/null, Mintsoft should automatically default it to United States (US). This will ensure: U.S. domestic orders can be imported without error. Mintsoft can send address and order status updates back to Etsy correctly. Please confirm once this fallback/default rule has been applied, or let us know if you require any additional information from our side. |
