We sell fabrics with different dye runs, so when orders are sold we need to ensure that a customer receives orders with all the same batch from one dye run. to ensure they get the same quality across all the fabric.
Mintsoft basically doesn't work for this business type due to this limitations.
Completely understand where this would be applicable but it's also pretty dangerous from another perspective.
We work a lot with batch / BBE products so we have to ensure that the stock is picked in strict rotation so allowing users to pick what they could would be disastrous.
I would suggest a different approach where the specific batch is selected at the point of order entry (which you can do now by settings 'Select Warehouse First When Inputting Order (Allows Choice Of Stock Location When Adding To Cart)' to ON in a users profile) and that way the pickers are directed to the correct stock.
