When inputting serials, we have only track serials on output. But we have the issue that it accepts anything, even a blank space. If we had a simple set of parameters such as a serial has to be 3-8+ characters long and cant be the SKU, UPC or EAN. This would pretty much solve our errors in serial inputs on outbound stock only.
Admittedly we only track output only as out clients don't want to pay for individual scans for every product across pallets of 1000s of units to input them
