Current Problem
We wish to turn on Shopify stock syncing with Mintsoft so the stock levels are always matching. However we can't as anything we put up for sale on Shopify as a pre-order which can be months before stock actually arrives will be treated as out of stock by Shopify and not let it be sold. |

Idea to resolve Problem | Put a toggle on skus that can exlude it from being synced. Then when stock does arrive we can flip the toggle and Shopify will see that stock and then match going forward. |
There is a way around this! If you create and ASN, mark the product as 'pre-orderable' and then create the relevant stock rule, the system will look at the stock levels, ASN and feed Shopify accordingly. For example, we have 100 units on an ASN but there are 30 required by backorder so Shopify would be sent 70 as the available stock. This also stops you overselling your pre-order...... We use it all the time - the trick is to turn it off!!!!!
