Packing into boxes is only possible when packing at the pc.
Idea to resolve Problem
For larger orders it would be good to have box packing on the mobile app

Single order packing is about to get released on the app very soon - you will be able to go to single order packing screen > scan tote > (optionally scan items again) > scan shipping box rework items > generate labels.
Bulk type batch packing is planned later this year
