Current Problem
We get asked to make kits up for clients but sometimes due to stock level fluctuation further down the line - we need to breakdown some of the already made kits, back into their components. e.g. low order volume for the kits and high order volume for the components. The only way to do this via Mintsoft is to manually book out the kits and manually book back in the component stock, this is a very long and tedious process especially if the kits contain many components and can be prone to error. |

Idea to resolve Problem | Develop Reverse Kit Builder functionality |
This needs the ability to allocate stock and certain BBD and batch numbers.
Also the ability to add more stock once the kit is being built. We would like to use this for productions but can’t at the moment.
When we do the productions, often there are damages and more stock needs to be added. Not a function currently.
Hi, thank you for your suggestion around kit builders, this idea requires more votes before this is considered for planning.
Agreed - also the kit builder should not default to UNASSIGNED. Either allow us to select a location when we define the kit (we have to specify warehouse so shy not location) or when you hit complete kit, select a destination for the stock at this point.
