Current Problem
The ability on a pick to mark an item as not picked (& flag location) but be able to continue with the rest of the pick. e.g. allowing 99 pieces out of 100 to be picked and the 1 not pick item to not be deducted from the stock count and not to show on the despatch note |

At the moment if you get half way through a 100pc pick and come to a location with a stock discrepancy - we must mark as unpickable.
This immediately ends the pick and marks it as pickingskipped - I would much rather the option to continue the pick and investigate once the pick is finished. With the status changing to partpicked.
Currently the entire pick has to be started again - all stock systems should have this ability, and all others that I have dealt with do!
Not sure if i'm reading this right but in the above scenario are you not part shipping the order? Surely if the stock is not available then the item needs investigating and then removing from the order and the customer informing? Maybe this would work for larger orders with agreed tolerances but I know our clients would go nuts if we didn't send out complete orders!
If this was implemented then it would have to be a setting at client level allowing orders at PICKINGSKIPPED to be despatched (which we can do now) but then automatically split the order so 1of2 has the 99 items you've sent out and then 2of2 has the one item at PICKINGSKIPPED.
Would have to say the above sounds really dangerous and could create a mountain of work / second parcels sending out.
