Flag at product level to exclude from stock sync

Now this may just be me and our clients but I do get asked quite often if we can exclude a particular product from the stock sync.

Is there a way that there could be a field on each product (that obviously defaults to 'YES') which could be part of the stock sync logic? My idea is that is this value is YES (which it would be for 99.9999% of the products) they inventory is synced with Shopify / Woo etc but if we need to flick that to NO for whatever reason we could just exlcude that particular product.

Would be much easier and far less dangerous than turning off the whole stock sync which is what we have to do now.

Am I mad?
