Current Problem
When processing orders, if we enter an incorrect batch in 'batch number', Mintsoft will confirm and log this batch, allowing the fulfilment team to move on to the next order, despite the batch being entered incorrectly. No error messages arise when inputting a different batch number. Mintsoft will replace what was the 'Allocated batch' and input the incorrectly entered data as being the 'Verified batch'. This could greatly impact stock accuracy, traceability and auditing. |

Idea to resolve Problem | A pop up window that could be managed on a customer level. When set to active, if a batch is input incorrectly, the pop up window will alert the team member asking them to confirm the batch before continuing. From here, they can confirm and move on, or go back and rectify any errors. |
Thanks for your response!
We are currently looking at updating our barcode verification page, so I will include implementing proper batch serial and expiry validation as part of that. Moving to Planned status.
Hi Jordan,
Hope you are well.
The users pick the allocated products assigned to them on the mobile app whilst batch picking. Then, the user moves on to om.mintsoft.co.uk - Batch Pick and Pack on their tablets. This is where they're able to input any figure/ data into the batch verification field. A small quantity of our products have batch barcodes, allowing the users to verify the batches by scanning, thus removing the input error. However, the majority of our products require manual input. If we had a pop up window when processing these orders through Batch Pick and Pack, we could eliminate input errors going forward.
I hope this helps. Thank you.
Hi Ben!
Could you confirm how you're verifying this information please? Is it via the app?
