Reinstate the Max Character reached Alert for address lines at time of creating shipment

Current Problem

The alert for going over the max allowed number of characters on a single address line no longer appears at the point of creating the shipment. Meaning if too many characters are in a single line, the shipment is created, the label printed and if not spotted, part of the address in missing from the label.


We have had several orders returned as undeliverable for this reason.

Idea to resolve Problem Reinstate the alert at time of creating shipment.

      This is not a wish in my opinion - it's a bug and must be resolved. If couriers have limits, enforce them.

      Seen the same with Hermes - their limit is 32 characters for address 1 but we sent 36, no alerts so parcel returned. Not good.
