Record Best Before Dates / Batch codes against external returns

currently you are unable to record any dates (Best before / Batch codes / Serial numbers) against an external return or any return that is processed through the Scanners.

currently you have to process the external return and then change the settings at item level to not date controlled, book out the stock that has no date, go back into the stock item and turn date controlled back on, then book the stock back into the location, the whole time giving detailed comments so that the audit history is complete.

There is also no option to record the best before dates against orders when the are returned on the scanners.
