Idea to resolve Problem | Packaging should be able to be set up in a similar way to all products but under a side heading down the left column. Add packaging should always be the option after picking the order and before you are able to create the label. Scan a barcode and it adds it to the order with weights, dimensions etc. It then should add the packaging cost to the invoice under packaging, not re work cost. |
Agree that packaging needs a bit of an overhaul. The biggest bug bear is the most obvious thing and put packaging costs under packaging, not re-work. It's infuriating to have to explain over and over again to clients as a 3PL why it's that confusing and silly.
It also needs sorting that you can locate packaging systematically, not have it booked into UNASSIGNED as you have to currently. With multiple clients having their own packaging, how are you supposed to manage stock if it's not located properly!
